Background
Engaging Borders Strategy Research and Development (SRD) Gte. is implementing the Delimi PROSPER Project with support from the Strengthening Peace and Resilience in Nigeria (SPRiNG) Programme. The project promotes youth-led peacebuilding, environmental resilience, civic participation, and constructive dialogue in communities across Plateau and Kaduna States.
As part of the project’s No-Cost Extension (NCE) period, Engaging Borders SRD seeks qualified vendors and service providers to support the finalisation, translation, design, production, and dissemination readiness of the project’s flagship knowledge product: the Youth and Resource Peacebuilding Report.
The report consolidates evidence, lessons learned, stakeholder perspectives, and policy recommendations generated throughout the implementation of the Delimi PROSPER Project and will serve as a resource for policymakers, development partners, researchers, civil society organisations, and community stakeholders.
Purpose of this Call
Engaging Borders SRD hereby invites qualified firms, consultants, and service providers to submit proposals for the provision of professional services related to the design, translation, production, and preparation of the Youth and Resource Peacebuilding Report.
The selected vendor(s) will support the transformation of a completed technical manuscript into a professionally designed, accessible, and publication-ready report suitable for both print and digital dissemination.
Scope of Services
The selected vendor(s) may be engaged for one or more of the following service categories:
Lot 1: Report Design and Layout
Services shall include:
- Professional report layout and typesetting
- Design of cover and internal pages
- Creation of infographics, charts, and visual elements where required
- Formatting of tables, figures, citations, and references
- Preparation of print-ready and web-ready versions
- Incorporation of donor and project branding requirements
Lot 2: Translation Services
Services shall include:
- Translation of the report Executive Summary into Hausa language
- Technical proofreading and quality assurance
- Harmonisation of terminology related to peacebuilding, governance, youth engagement, and environmental resilience
- Preparation of publication-ready translated files
Lot 3: Printing and Production
Services shall include:
- High-quality printing of final approved report
- Production of colour copies according to specifications provided by Engaging Borders SRD
- Binding, packaging, and preparation for distribution
- Delivery of printed copies to designated locations
Expected Deliverables
Depending on the lot(s) applied for, vendors will be expected to deliver:
Design and Layout
- Designed report cover
- Fully formatted publication-ready report
- Print-ready PDF version
- Digital dissemination version
- Editable source files
Translation
- Hausa-language version of the report
- Proofread and quality-assured translation
- Editable and publication-ready files
Printing
- Printed and bound copies meeting agreed specifications
- Delivery note and production report
Duration
All services are expected to be completed within an agreed implementation schedule during the Delimi PROSPER Project No-Cost Extension period.
The selected vendor(s) must demonstrate the capacity to work within compressed timelines while maintaining high quality standards.
Eligibility Requirements
Interested vendors must submit:
- Company profile or consultant profile.
- Evidence of relevant experience in report production, translation, publishing, or printing.
- Portfolio of similar assignments completed within the last three years.
- Proposed methodology and work plan.
- Financial quotation clearly indicating costs for the applicable service lot(s).
- Evidence of business registration (where applicable).
- At least two references from previous clients.
