The Delimi Process
A Youth-Centred Framework for Peacebuilding, Democratic Resilience, and Preventive Governance
Developed by Engaging Borders Strategy Research and Development (SRD), the Delimi Process is an integrated framework that transforms learning into leadership, community action, policy engagement, and knowledge production.
The Delimi PROSPER Project (2025–2026) served as the first implementation and proof of concept of the Delimi Process, with support from the Strengthening Peace and Resilience in Nigeria (SPRiNG) Programme.
The Delimi Process is the flagship intellectual framework of Engaging Borders SRD for youth-centred peacebuilding, democratic resilience, and preventive governance. Developed through research and tested in practice, it provides a replicable model for transforming learning into leadership, evidence into policy, and communities into active partners in peacebuilding.

Why the Delimi Process?
Contemporary conflicts rarely emerge from a single cause. They develop at the intersection of environmental pressure, resource competition, identity, governance, misinformation, and democratic transitions. While young people are often at the centre of these dynamics, they are too often treated as beneficiaries rather than leaders.
The Delimi Process was developed by Engaging Borders SRD to address this gap.

The Delimi PROSPER Project
Between August 2025 and March 2026, Engaging Borders SRD implemented the Delimi PROSPER Project across Plateau and Kaduna States as the first operational test of the Delimi Process.
Supported by the Strengthening Peace and Resilience in Nigeria (SPRiNG) Programme, the pilot demonstrated that structured digital learning, youth leadership, community engagement, policy dialogue, and knowledge production can function as a single, integrated system.
