We are thrilled to announce the 60 successful participants selected for the Delimi PROSPER Project Workshop — a flagship learning and engagement initiative dedicated to empowering young peacebuilders, innovators, and changemakers across Plateau and Kaduna States.
After a competitive and inclusive selection process, the final cohort reflects the project’s commitment to diversity, gender equity, and disability inclusion — key pillars of the Delimi PROSPER vision to build more connected and resilient communities in Northern Nigeria.
About the Workshop
The Delimi PROSPER MOOC-Style Workshop is a blended learning experience designed to strengthen digital peacebuilding skills and community resilience. It is at the core of the Delimi PROPSER Project. Participants will engage in self-paced online modules, interactive peer learning sessions, and localized activities that build practical competencies in dialogue facilitation, digital storytelling, and community research.
Through this program, participants will:
- Acquire practical tools for digital advocacy and inclusive community engagement.
- Develop projects that address local peace and social cohesion challenges.
- Join a growing network of peace actors, innovators, and civic leaders across Nigeria.

This project is supported by the Strengthening Peace and Resilience in Nigeria (SPRiNG) Programme and funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO)
About the Cohort
The 2025 cohort brings together 30 participants each from Plateau and Kaduna States, representing diverse Local Government Areas and professional backgrounds — from educators and journalists to youth organizers, artists, and civic technologists.
- 54% of the cohort are women, affirming our commitment to gender parity in leadership.
- 10% identify as Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), ensuring the workshop reflects the lived realities and perspectives of all community members.
- Participants range across multiple age groups and regions, underscoring the intergenerational and geographic breadth of our approach.
This diversity strengthens the collaborative learning environment that lies at the heart of the Delimi PROSPER Project — one that values shared experience, empathy, and local ownership.
Next Steps
All selected participants will receive onboarding instructions via email, including:
- Access credentials to the online learning platform.
- Workshop timeline and module overview.
- Details for the orientation session and mentor introductions.
Participants are required to confirm their attendance through the official onboarding form that will also be shared via email.
Appreciation
We extend heartfelt appreciation to all <800 applicants who expressed interest in joining this transformative journey. The overwhelming response highlights the growing commitment among young Nigerians to foster peace, inclusion, and innovation in their communities.
For those not selected in this round, there will be future opportunities to engage through upcoming community workshops, research initiatives, and open learning events under the Delimi PROSPER banner.
Congratulations to the Delimi PROSPER Cohort!
