Why "Delimi"?
The project takes its name from the Delimi River, a vital waterway flowing through Jos in the Jos Plateau. This region is the source of several major rivers, including the River Kaduna, which lends its name to Kaduna State. The Delimi River symbolises movement, rootedness, and renewal — themes that reflect our commitment to locally grounded, youth-driven transformation. Just as the river connects and sustains, this project seeks to build bridges across divides and nurture new growth.
This project is supported by the Strengthening Peace and Resilience in Nigeria (SPRiNG) Programme and funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO)
