1. Purpose of this Call
Engaging Borders SRD invites qualified vendors, production teams, and independent filmmakers to submit proposals for the production of two (2) youth-led mini-documentaries under the Delimi PROSPER Project. The mini-documentaries will serve as learning and dialogue tools, rather than promotional or advocacy content.
2. Scope of Work
The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for the end-to-end production of two short mini-documentaries, each approximately 5–8 minutes in length, drawn from project-sourced story concepts, focused on:
- Resource sharing and land-use dynamics
- Climate and environmental stress affecting livelihoods
- Youth-led resilience, adaptation, or peacebuilding responses
- Community-level conflict prevention and governance practices
3. Expected Deliverables
- Story treatment (for approval)
- Field production (video, sound, interviews
- Editing and post-production
- Final mini-documentary (5–8 minutes)
- Short teaser clip (30–60 seconds)
- Subtitles (English and Hausa)
- Basic accessibility features (clear audio, captions, monochrome version)
4. Production Approach & Ethics
Vendors must demonstrate a conflict-sensitive, non-sensational approach, respect for participant consent, and experience working with youth or community-based narratives. Content must avoid identity stereotyping, blame narratives, or graphic imagery.
5. Duration & Timeline
Production is expected to be completed within an agreed timeline aligned with the overall project schedule. Key milestones include concept approval, rough cut review, and final delivery.

- Links to previous work samples
- Proposed methodology and approach
- Financial quotation aligned with the scope of work
7. Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on technical quality, understanding of youth and conflict-sensitive narratives, relevant experience, cost-effectiveness, and ability to deliver on time.
